There’s not really any Cadillac that carries a full blown name these days, there’s the CTS, the EXT and now the latest in A and S technology, the 2005 Cadillac STS.
It’s all a part of Cadillac’s newest and better feat of classing up the
competition.
After all, how can a simple Cadillac Seville compete with an Audi, Lexus,
or Mercedes unless you add a few high tech letters to it? But enough about
the name change, in fact, the simple truth is; this new Cadillac breed, the
STS, is a pretty great car.
The new Seville Touring Sedan, hence the STS letters, is in fact a car that
wants to be driven. It’s great for those long hauls and allows the driver to
spend limitless hours under the wheel without sacrificing comfort and control.
The STS is available to the public in a V6 and a V8, as well as a choice of
suspensions.
If you’re one of those drivers that plan on actively using this sedan to tour
the highways, you may opt for the new and improved suspension that adjusts
accordingly to your driving conditions. If you’re just planning on driving this
gorgeous car around town and back and forth to work, you probably just need the
traditional suspension that Cadillac is famous for.
The interior of this Seville isn’t too bad, either. For the first time in
Cadillac history, the interior of these 2005 Cadillac STS is as incredible as
the exterior. Lumbar supported seats that offer the driver, as well, as their
passengers an adjustable seating range is now available, not to mention, ample
storage and leg room.
As far as safety goes, Cadillac never sleeps and this new STS proves that
Cadillac has went above and beyond its mandatory regulations. Standard equipment
includes dual, two-stage frontal airbags, front seat side airbags, and front and
rear side curtain airbags. No doubt Cadillac has covered the entire whelm of
possibilities when it comes to a luxury touring sedan.
